About the speaker:  
Dr. Johannes Krause graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Geo-ecology from the University of Tübingen in Germany. He received his master’s degree in marine system science from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he studied physiological rates of coralline algae. He joined Dr. Elizabeth Watson’s Coastal Change Lab at Drexel University in 2016 where he earned a PhD in 2021. He currently holds a postdoctoral position at Florida International University studying the effects of coastal environmental change on ecosystem services delivered by seagrasses.

During each event, a different Drexel researcher will talk about their latest research projects and importance of making research opening available, followed by Q/A and lively discussion with the audience. 

Each of the featured OA Week Researcher Table Talk speakers published their articles in Open Access publications using funding provided by the Drexel Libraries’ Open Access Publishing Pilot Fund.
