ScholarSip #8 featuring Professor Hasan Ayaz Online

Celebrate 10 years of ScholarSip with 10 events running through June 2022.

From climate change and sustainability to racial inequities and health to data privacy, the 2021/2022 ScholarSip series will feature ten “food for thought” presentations by Drexel faculty, staff, and students across all disciplines. Join the Drexel Libraries and fellow Dragons as we exchange ideas and foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration. The list of webinars will be posted on our Events Calendar as they are scheduled.

This week, we are excited to welcome guest speaker

Hasan Ayaz, PhD
Drexel University

Associate Professor
School of Biomedical Engineering, Science & Health Systems

Professor Ayaz will lead a "food for thought" discussion on his research on neuroergonomics, an emerging interdisciplinary research area, and his work to establish the new academic research journal, Frontiers in Neuroergonomics.

All Drexel faculty, professional staff, students, alumni and members of the public are invited to join us remotely for what promises to be a lively conversation with colleagues.

Please note that registration is required. All registrants will receive an email with the Zoom link and password on the day of the event. This event will be recorded and posted on the Libraries’ YouTube channel.

About ScholarSip

Now in its 10th year, ScholarSip is an annual event series hosted by the Drexel University Libraries that seeks to nurture Drexel’s intellectual life and cross-campus community through informal gatherings where faculty and professional staff exchange ideas sparked by greater awareness of interdisciplinary research. Each event includes social time to build acquaintances and a short “food for thought” presentation from a member of the Drexel community. ScholarSip provides an opportunity for members of the Drexel community to gather for conversation – along with a toast to the end of the academic term.
