Description: In this hands-on workshop, we'll talk about turning your research question into a search strategy, and we will try out searching a few different databases; we’ll include a look at "citation searching" to identify key articles and to trace the development of ideas. Health Sciences Librarian Sarah Hughes, MSLIS & MA, will share research tips helpful for all graduate students.

This event is part of the Graduate Online Success Series: Grad Online Jawn, a series of online workshops offered by the Office of Graduate Studies and the McGonigal Academic Resources Center (ARC), in collaboration with campus partners, to provide graduate students with key skills and resources to support them throughout their academic journey. The workshops are meant to be engaging and interactive and offer opportunities to meet with faculty and professional staff experts from across the university.

While the workshop series is geared toward graduate students studying online, all graduate students are welcome! Students who register will receive login instructions via email and workshop materials after the event. In addition, workshop materials are made available in the series archive.
