Open Access Week: Introduction to Open Access Publishing & Resources Online

Curious about open access publishing but worried about the quality of the journal? Confused about the different types of open access publishing models and how to cover the cost of article processing charges?

Then join Drexel Librarians Hannah Purtymun and Matt Sherman for our Open Access Week event, Introduction to Open Access Publishing & Resources.

This workshop will provide a practical overview of OA publishing, including:

  • The benefits of publishing open access

  • Tips to help you identify and avoid predatory publishers
  • How open access can help promote your research
  • How to publish open access for free!

This event is free and open to all members of the Drexel community and the general public. Seating is limited and registration is required.
We will also provide a virtual option for those who cannot join us in person. Please register and select "online registration" to receive the Zoom link.
