Opening Reception: AIDS, Posters, and Stories of Public Health: A People’s History of a Pandemic

Please join us at the opening reception for AIDS, Posters, and Stories of Public Health: A People’s History of a Pandemic, a traveling exhibition from the National Library of Medicine.

Faculty and staff from the Drexel University Libraries and the College of Nursing & Health Professions will speak about the exhibit to kick off the event. Guests are then invited to enjoy refreshments and view the exhibition.

About the Exhibit:

The exhibit features selections from the National Library of Medicine’s archive of public health posters and explores how AIDS posters serve as highly adaptable, durable, cost effective, efficient tools in sharing public health messaging. It will be on display at Drexel from Monday, February 12 – Sunday, March 22, 2024.

The Drexel Libraries welcomes students, faculty, staff, and members of the public to attend the Opening Reception. The exhibition and reception will take place in the lobby of Drexel's Health Sciences Building at 36th & Filbert Streets.
