Leveraging Open Access and Online Interactive Applications to Disseminate Urban Health Research Online

In this talk, Drexel Professors Bilal and Kephart will discuss examples of their research conducted as part of the Salud Urbana en America Latina (SALURBAL) study, one focusing on disparities in life expectancy within and between cities, and one focused on the effects of heat on mortality between cities. They will summarize this research and explain how the use of open access publications and online interactive applications has helped disseminate this work.
