Have you always wanted to write poetry but aren’t sure where to begin? Join the Drexel Libraries and Professors Valerie Fox and Lynn Levin from Drexel’s College of Arts and Sciences for a ScholarSnack poetry writing workshop.

Using a prompt from their new book Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets (Second Edition), as well as resources from the Drexel Libraries, Professor Fox and Professor Levin will provide handouts and instruct the audience in how to craft poems. Attendees will leave the workshop with their very own poem—and a little more knowledge about the Libraries! Copies of the book will be on display at the event and are available for purchase at the Drexel Bookstore.  

This workshop is open to all Drexel students, as well as faculty and staff.
