Drexel-Penn-Temple Libraries Event - Design Thinking: A Hands-on Approach to Improving your Library

Kara Lindstrom, Program Director of Drexel’s ExCITe Center, will present an overview of design thinking, then facilitate a design challenge workshop. We hope that attendees will be inspired to conduct design challenges at their home institutions.

Location: Temple University’s Morgan Hall North, room D301. Morgan Hall North is located at the corner of Broad and Cecil B. Moore, conveniently available from the Cecil B. Moore stop on SEPTA's Broad Street Line.

Note: The Broad Street entrance to Morgan Hall North will be locked owing to winter intersession. To gain access to the building, walk east on Cecil B. Moore (from Broad) and then go around the building to the interior courtyard to locate an open entrance.

Prior to attending the meeting, we ask that you review this 1999 ABC-Nightline clip profiling IDEO, an organization that pioneered design thinking and continues to be a leader in design and development today. You may also wish to review IDEO’s Design Thinking for Libraries Toolkit - a more modern approach.
