Census Data Workshop

The Census Bureau collects health and health insurance data using three national surveys and one model-based survey: the Current Population Survey's Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC), the American Community Survey (ACS), the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), and the Small Area Health Insurance Program (SAIPE).

This workshop will provide a review of each program with emphasis on the American Community Survey. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in finding Census data using Census.gov and American FactFinder.

This workshop is being hosted Drexel Libraries and conducted by Noemi Mendez, a Data Dissemination Specialist at the U.S. Census Bureau.

All members of the campus community are invited to attend, and we encourage you to register using the form below. For questions, please contact Liaison Librarian Kathleen Turner at khturner@drexel.edu
