Workshop: Health Data in the US Census - CANCELED

This event has been canceled; it will be rescheduled at a later date at the Center City (Hahnemann) Library

The Census Bureau collects health data using three national surveys: the Current Population Survey's Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC), the American Community Survey (ACS), the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) and one model based program, the Small Area Health Insurance Program (SAIPE). This workshop will provide a review of each of these programs with emphasis on the American Community Survey. Participants will have hands-on computer training on finding Census data using Census.gov and American FactFinder.

This workshop will be led by Noemi Mendez, a Data Dissemination Specialist at the U. S. Census Bureau, and hosted by Drexel University Libraries, in Hagerty Library, Room L14. Please RSVP.
