ScholarSip

Celebrate the last day of classes and join informal cross-disciplinary conversations with Drexel faculty and professional staff over drinks and refreshments at this quarter's ScholarSip event. Now in its fourth year, ScholarSip provides an opportunity for faculty and professional staff to gather for conversation – along with a toast to the end of the academic term. The event is a reception along with a brief “food for thought” presentation to highlight some of the great cross-disciplinary scholarship at Drexel.

Ellen Bass, professor and head, Department of Information and Science, CCI and professor, department of health systems and services research, CNHP will speak at the event. Ellen will speak on unmanned aircraft systems and the role of people in supporting safe and efficient operations. Her talk will address strategies for determining the allocation of work between humans and automated systems.

ScholarSip is hosted by Drexel University Libraries with guidance from a planning committee. For more information about ScholarSip or to suggest a future topic, please contact: Jenny James Lee at 215.571.4095 or jaj92@drexel.edu.
