ScholarSip

Celebrate the last day of classes and join informal cross-disciplinary conversations with Drexel faculty and professional staff over drinks and refreshments at this quarter's ScholarSip event. Now in its fourth year, ScholarSip provides an opportunity for faculty and professional staff to gather for conversation – along with a toast to the end of the academic term.

The event is a reception along with a brief “food for thought” presentation to highlight some of the great cross-disciplinary scholarship at Drexel. Daniel Taylor, DO, will provide the evening's food for thought, presenting his research on child poverty trends and how early childhood stressors affect short- and long-term health. Taylor is an associate professor in the department of pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine.

ScholarSip is hosted by Drexel University Libraries. For more information about ScholarSip or to suggest a future topic, please contact Jenny James Lee at 215.571.4095 or jaj92@drexel.edu.
